Appertivo at Fig & Olive, Newport Beach

Pardon my hiatus lately but I've been preoccupied with studying for a big exam and now that I'm done, it's time to get back into blogging gear! I recently had the opportunity to try the new happy hour menu at Fig & Olive in Newport Beach with the boyfriend and it was quite delicious! Their happy hour of small bites ranging from $5-$12 (HERE) includes a cheese board, F&O sliders, and truffle skinny fries. Our favorites were definitely Fig & Olive's infamous crostinis (always a must-get when you dine here), the truffle mushroom croquette (a tasty combination of surprise flavors), and the Tuscan artichoke (perfectly cooked and seasoned) - they were all SO good & I highly recommend trying each of them! Of course, you can't really do happy hour without a cocktail or two, right? Which is why you can indulge a little and enjoy a glass of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails for only $6-$8. If you like something light and bubbly, order the Rossellini and Piscine cocktails.
