A Hidden Vine Wine Bar, Mission Viejo

Dinner? Check. Wine tasting. Check. Sunset view? Check. Everything I loved in one place. What more could you ask for, right? Last year, I got together with my girls Tiffani and Tanya to celebrate my 34th birthday at A Hidden Vinewine bar in Mission Viejo. I've never been there and love trying new local spots, especially when they're in the OC!

HOW IT WORKS :: You buy a prepay card and choose how much you want on it. They have self-service wine pouring stations so depending what you choose, it'll tell you how much each tasting will cost. Prices vary for white wine, red wine, sparkling, and dessert wines. You can also reload the prepaid card to add more, as needed.

We ordered dishes from the Italian place next door and it was delicious. It was very convenient that the restaurant delivers your order to you and the wine tasting room is totally fine with you enjoying it onsite.

The wine room also has cheese and salami options if you fancy a charcuterie board to share instead.

We came during sunset and, if you sit outside, you can get a really nice view of it over the Mission Viejo lake. Seriously so peaceful and beautiful. *le sigh* I love moments like these.

I really don't need anything extravagant as I truly cherish smaller, intimate settings more. You really get to catch up and enjoy each other's company that way. And this is how I end up with so many birthday dinners instead of 1 big bash to include everyone. I guess the birthday month celebrations will still continue (haha).

Highly recommend coming here as the service was great, cheese were delicious (they have a variety you can sample from), and ambience was low key casual vibes. Hope you enjoy it.
