About this time last year, I was considered still engaged and a "bachelorette"...
First there was my Kauai destination bachelorette trip (here, here, here) then there was the Southern California celebration. To be honest, I wasn't planning on having anything local but some of my close girlfriends really wanted to do something. And so, if we were going to celebrate my bachelorette, I wanted it to do something different that I haven't done before and - surprisingly - I haven't gone wine tasting in Temecula yet! So my bridal party helped plan this second last minute bachelorette (adore them!) and it turned out to be quite a fun, FUN time. If you're thinking about doing a local bachelorette celebration (DO IT!!), I'm sharing 3 must-have things to include when planning your girl's Temecula wine tasting bachelorette party for S-U-C-C-E-S-S.
MUST HAVE #1 :: Rent a party bus
The perks about renting a party bus is that it's like having a personalized uber driver where everyone gets to be together. You don't have to worry about someone being a designated driver or if someone got lost. Cause you'll all be on the same party bus! And, as the name says, it IS a party bus hence, crank up your favorites jams (90's music, anyone?) and dance your way to the wineries. We booked Castro Limosines and they arrived on time had great rates, and friendly service (aka helped take group photos for us). Would so recommend them!
MUST HAVE #2 :: Pack lunch, snacks, etc.
Super important! Costco has this awesome croissant sandwich party platter that's perfect for travel and easy to eat. Plus, don't forget chips (lots and lots of chips) andddd you've got to bring some bubbly to pop on the party bus for the road trip there. Hey, gotta get that party started, rigth?!?
MUST HAVE #3 :: Pick at least 3 different wine tasting spots
Since you've already made your way out there, you might as well make the most of it and visit different wineries. Split wine tastings with a friend if that helps. I think you should try to make the most of it. With each location, there's a different vibe that comes along with the various types of wine that they carry. I'll share another post soon on which wineries we went to so stay tuned for it!
Did you know Temecula wine tasting is about 1-1.5 hours away from Orange County?
Closer than you thought, right? At least for me it was and it was also far enough where it felt like a mini destination bachelorette. Loved celebrating this experience with my girls + G as we sipped from one winery to the next! I highly suggest doing this bachelorette idea if you haven't done it yet. Let me know if you try it! Thanks for reading and sending you hugs!
